Whether you’re lactose intolerant or simply need to get more calcium in your diet, chia seeds are a great source for that. It is also a great source for fiber and vitamin B. The beauty of chia seeds is that you don’t need to break the seed to get the benefits. It can be consumed whole. Add it to yogurt, cereal or other foods or simply take a spoonful and chase it down with water like you would a pill. Adding it to your food is probably an easier way of taking it in though.
